Emma Hancock - Ex Travel & Toursim Student Now Spreading Her Wings With British Airways!

Past student Emma Hancock never gave up and had her sights set high. Emma had the career ambition to become cabin crew and wanted to fly for British Airways. Upon successfully completing her BTEC Diploma in travel and tourism she applied to BA and to Easyjet. Emma was invited for an interview with both airlines and was offered a job with Easyjet and asked to reapply to BA in a years time and to gain some working experience e in sales and customer service.  Emma turned down the job with Easyjet and followed the feedback from BA Emma then reapplied a year later. Emma made it through to the final stages and was offered a position with BA, upon successful completion of the 6 week intensive training.

Emma said she found this training really tough but was well prepared for it after studying travel and tourism at college and being aware of company standards within the industry.

Emma successfully completed her 6 week training and received her flying wings. Emma is now BA cabin crew on mixed fleet flying all over the world. Currently Emma is on a 9 day tour to Syndey via Singapore and in her words is living her dream. Every month Emma receives her flying schedule which starts the next exciting chapter of her flying career.  We am so proud of what Emma has achieved. Even when she found aspects of her college course difficult, she never gave up, always striving to be the best she could be.

Some of Emma's favourite stops overs have been South Africa and having the chance to go on safari and get up close to animals, Chicago and Australia.
