Travel & Tourism Students in Amsterdam!

As part of the Level 3 Travel & Tourism course, a unit that our student have to complete is Unit 23: Residential Study Visit, which means it is all down to the students to plan, prepare and deliver a residential visit, and the good news is the students can pick a destination of their choice.

And so, Year 2 Travel students chose to go to AMSTERDAM! The hardest part of the unit is probably choosing the destination that everyone agreed on. The students had to consider every aspect of the trip, such as setting the budget, what excursions they wanted to go on, entertainment, flight times, transfer services, food and drink, accommodation etc. They had to do all of these things to achieve Unit 23 and that they had a planned a successful residential study visit.

The students had planned a full on day by day itinerary, they visited educational places such as Van Gough museum and Anne Frank’s House, but they also had fun by going on a cycling tour if the city, canal cruise and visited the windmills. It was safe to say that this was a successful trip and students absolutely loved every minute of it!
